Few natural winemakers are surrounded by as much lore and reverence as Frank Cornelissen, the Sicilian winemaker rooted in the highest reaches of Mt. Etna's Alps. His wines are extraordinary expressions of the unique volcanic terroir of Etna, and his omission of additional yeast combined with extended maceration times ensures these bottles retain the authentic character of their origin.

The Rosso VA is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese sourced from the three highest vineyards on his estate. The vines are over 90 years old, ungrafted, and a true reflection of Sicilian terroir. The wine undergoes 18 months of aging in epoxy tanks, followed by another 18 months in the bottle. It is ready to drink now but can also be cellared for a few more years.
