Bar Dough is an Italian kitchen that has an elevated take on traditional cuisine in a cozy neighborhood setting. Executive Chef Stefy DeVita's menu of inventive small plates, traditionally prepared meats and fish, handmade pasta & wood fired pizza has drawn rave reviews locally and nationally. Our Italian inspired cocktails, craft beers and Italian wine list have been carefully curated and will appeal to the most discerning palates.

Chef Stefy Devita joined The Culinary Creative Group in 2017. Having moved to Denver from Florida, she immediately found a home at Bar Dough. Under the tutelage of James Beard Semi-Finalist and Top Chef Finalist Chef Carrie Baird, Stefy was offered a Sous Chef role, where she continued to expand her passion for Italian food over the next 3 years. Stefy has a love for Italian Cuisine, having been a student of the cuisine under two time Michelin-awarded Chef Michael Mina at his FarmTable Cucina restaurant in St. Petersburg, Florida. Chef Stefy’s next opportunity with The Culinary Creative Group was with Señor Bear. Under Michelin Bib Gourmand Chef Blake Edmunds and Chef Sebastian Ramirez-Loher, Stefy would share her passion for Puerto Rican and Latin cuisine for the next 3 years. The Culinary Creative Group recognized the talent of Chef Stefy and gave her the opportunity to stage in Boston under James Beard Award Winning Chef Jamie Bissonnette. She spent time learning in several of his restaurants, including Little Donkey, Faccia a Faccia, Toro and Uni. Upon her return to Denver, Chef Stefy earned her position at A5 Steakhouse. While working under Chef Max Mackissock and Executive Chef Anthony Mills, Chef Stefy and the A5 Culinary team were honored with a Michelin Recommended Restaurant award, a mark of excellence in the culinary world. From Chef Stefy: “Becoming an Executive Chef is a huge milestone for me. To accomplish that at Bar Dough, a very special restaurant where so many talented Chefs have grown, is an honor. When you're in the building you can feel it. There is a history to it. It's an important element to me. I will definitely pull inspiration for Bar Dough’s future by honoring its past. “My other inspiration lies in my own story. A chance to find my voice. I initially became drawn to food through cooking with my mom and a love of bringing people together. Through education, I discovered the significance of sustainability and supporting local farmers and businesses. The simplicity of well-cared for ingredients sparked my creativity, blending traditional and modern techniques. This passion culminated in my love for Italian cuisine, where I found endless possibilities of pizza and pasta.” Chef Stefy’s story is just beginning, as she comes full circle back to where her journey began. The Culinary Creative Group is both proud and excited to have Chef Stefy at the helm, pushing the culinary limits in creativity and finesse. Combining a lifelong culinary passion and talents into every dish.
