Birba started ten years ago with 3 goals in mind:
1. To support small European farmers who grow and make wine using indigenous grapes. These unique grape varieties taste great, are super food friendly and support biodiversity.
2. To make wine fun and approachable for everyone! Absolutely no wine snobbery.
3. Accessibility and affordability. We take great pride in keeping even the most allocated wines priced fairly so everyone can enjoy them.
Our goals haven’t changed, though we’ve expanded our focus to welcome more local and global wine makers to the mix. Over the years, Angie has been asked to curate a wine club, and fortunately, now has time to dedicate to one. We welcome you to continue this journey with us, explore small growers and indigenous grapes, and share BIRBA with your friends and family.
