Bonde Wine Club

Why join our club?
In our three years in business, starting a wine club has been the most common request from our customers, and that’s because they know that they can trust Bertil’s palate and expertise. This wine club is for discovering new, outsider, eco-responsible artisan American wineries. Each month you’ll receive a different set of wines that are exclusive to Bonde and can’t be found anywhere else in the state (and in some cases, anywhere else at all), along with their tasting notes, pairing recommendations, and origin stories.
Option Add-on:
Choose your own diversity, because we believe in you…
Pickup or Delivery?

  • Bertail's tasting notes, pairing recommendations, and origin stories about your monthly wines
  • Access to new, limited bottles before they hit the shelf

  • Direct line to Bertil for any wine-related questions and advice
This is the wine club for you to discover new small-scale artisan American wines, and the producers who make them. Each month you’ll receive a different set of wines from our private importation, which means they are exclusive to Bonde and can’t be bought anywhere else in the state (and in some cases, anywhere else at all), along with their tasting notes, pairing recommendations, and origin stories. They will also be the first release of the wines, which means they’ll be available to wine club members first (at a discount) before they are on the shelves at our shop.
In our three years in business, starting a wine club has been the most common request, and that’s because our customers know that they can trust Bertil’s palate and his integrity. There is no bad wine at Bonde, and all the wine is sold at a fair price. Our exclusive selection is made possible by Bertil’s close relationships with all of our winemakers, which have been developed over his forty plus-year career in wine that includes sommelierie, winemaking, importing, and selling. With our wine club, we’re able to offer the benefits of these partnerships to those who want to discover new winemakers, new regions, and new wines.
You can skip a month, pause or cancel your membership anytime via your Table22 member portal.
By joining the wine club, you’re supporting small-scale producers that use eco-responsible and humane practices in the vineyards and in the wine cellar. With private importation of American producers, we are able to cut out the many layers of middlemen that are normally part of the wine supply chain. This means that, instead of being siphoned off via various distributors and shipping companies, the largest possible percentage of your membership fee goes directly back to the producers who need it most. All of our wines are eco-responsible, which means they are made from wineries with grapes that have been grown with respect for the fruit, the land, and the people who tend it, and have been vinified at a human scale without the use of industrial chemicals or mechanical processes.
You’re also supporting Bonde Fine Wine Shop, one of a diminishing number of independently owned and operated businesses in Harvard Square. Bonde Fine Wine Shop was opened in July 2021 by Bertil Jean-Chronberg, and won Best of Boston that same year. We specialize in eco-responsible and author wines from North America. What’s an author’s wine? It’s the opposite of the standard, mass-produced wines that make up most of the market. These wines were not created according to market trends, instead they are produced on a small scale, with an expert winemaker at the heart.
