Each month Che Fico Wine Director Jason Alexander takes you to a different iconic Italian region each month — like Sicily, Piemonte, or Tuscany—helping you learn, taste, and collect your way around the peninsula. 

Every month will include a map and overview of the months selected region in addition to educational content and specific notes about the producers and wines, why we selected them, and pairing recommendations from our market.

Che Fico is an Italian Taverna by acclaimed chef David Nayfeld and operator Matt Brewer, started in San Francisco's NOPA neighborhood. The award-winning restaurant is known for rustic, casual Italian fare through the lens of California. Il Mercato di Che Fico and Che Fico Menlo Park were opened in 2024.
