The Experience
Neighborhood Restaurant Group offers our Annual ChurchKey Beer Academy — a course in craft beer led by Partner and Beverage Director, Greg Engert!

The Annual Membership ($175) includes a quarterly pre-recorded class covering a range of topics and accompanied by 8 delicious brews each class — but we've got even more great member perks. Greg (plus other special guests from the brewing industry) will explore the histories and traditions of both rare and classic brews while touching on tasting notes and food pairings.

Don't miss this opportunity to taste the very best in craft beer, get schooled by Greg on beer flavors and styles, and hear directly from the biggest names in the industry as they talk about the beers themselves. We've had the likes of Ken Grossman (Sierra Nevada), Garrett Oliver (Brooklyn Brewery), Rob Tod (Allagash), and Sean Lawson (Lawson's Finest) as guests in past classes, with another impressive list of luminaries on deck for 2026!

There are 4 classes (1.5 hour each) per year and each class will be accompanied by 8 different bottles and cans that relate to the specific course, for a total of 32 beers over the course of the year.  Previous classes included American Craft Classics: A Collection of Celebrated Brews from the Old School, The Beers of Germany: From Weissbier to Lager & Beyond, Big & Small: Showcasing the Possibilities of Session Beers & Strong Ales and more!
