Maxwell Park’s Wine Club is a way for us to offer a unique and exploratory wine club experience in the comfort of one's own home. We have developed access over the years to rare and select wines from around the world - and we want to share these discoveries with you. You’ll take an educational journey through the universe of wine, experiencing the vast complexity of the old world vs. new, natural and biodynamic wines, and what makes certain terroirs so special. The Maxwell Park team will lean on their travels, industry relationships, and love of small production wines to hand-select bottles that speak of the places they come from.
What You’ll Get
A monthly deep dive into our favorite producers, grapes, and regions. Each month you’ll enjoy a selection of hand-selected wines from Owner and Sommelier Brent Kroll, as well as accompanying educational content, tasting notes, and backstory about the wines, vineyards, and producers behind the month’s selections.

- The Royal Tannin Bombs - The most royal-tasting high tannin, red and orange wines!

It all started on a playground outside of Detroit, Michigan in the 1980s. That's where Founder & Sommelier Brent Kroll spent countless hours as a kid playing on a wooden jungle gym next to railroad tracks known as Maxwell Park. Fast forward a couple of decades, Brent and his business partners bring that same fun, playful and unbridled spirit to the namesake bar. While our wine list is seriously extensive, we take pride in not taking ourselves too seriously--we write in chalk on our slate bar top, we bump old-school hip-hop and 90s hits on our speakers and you'll never find any of our staff in a suit and tie behind the bar.
Since opening in June 2017, Maxwell and its staff have received numerous accolades, including 2019 Best Bar in America from Esquire and 2018 Sommelier of the Year from Food & Wine.
