The Experience
A new way to celebrate both ancient and new aspects of Mexican cuisine, each month members receive a rotating family-style dinner featuring signature Nixta dishes, new off-menu items, and, of course, homemade tortillas, salsas, and dessert.

  • Seasonal Salad
  • Sikil P’aak — a pre-Hispanic dish found in the Yucatan. Pumpkin seed, dried chilies, and tomato dip with puffed amaranth, housemade Tajin and garden vegetables.
  • A main course such as:
    • A Taco Party Pack OR 
    • Other Specialties, such as Duck Mole, Flautas, Pozole, Duck Carnitas Taco Pack
  • Additional accoutrements like heirloom tortillas, salsas, and more

The first recorded tortillas originated in 10,000 BC. From there, the Aztecs delivered the OG nixtamalized corn tortilla to the world over 500 years ago. This was done through a painstaking process, known as nixtamalization, which describes how corn is transformed by partially cooking and soaking it in lime powder (plus a few other Aztec secrets). From generation to generation, and family to family, the process of nixtamal has been passed down. Food is something that has always been a really important part of our lives, and we can't wait to share our culture and hospitality with you at Nixta.
