The Red Hen - We are an Italian-influenced American restaurant located in the historic Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, DC. Proprietors and long-time friends Michael Friedman and Michael O'Malley have introduced a youthful sophistication to the rapidly evolving dining scene in one of the most eclectic neighborhoods in the nation's capital. All-Purpose Elevated Italian-American trattoria serving salumi, seasonal antipasti, hand-made pasta and deck-oven pizzas along with classic cocktails, local beer and a stellar wine list inspired by the Italian peninsula! This relaxed riverfront restaurant and gathering spot is located across the street from Nationals Park and neighboring Audi Field.
