The Experience
The world's not short on wine clubs, so why join ours? Well . . . it's so much more than a wine club, because wine is so much more than a mere beverage. This is a private venue for appreciation, a chance to deepen your engagement one bottle at a time. This is a flight of fancy, something to blithely share with friends or soothe the nerves at the end of a long day. This is a community of wine lovers who meet virtually every third Thursday of the month to learn more about the month's picks with award-winning sommelier Bill Jensen. However you want to engage it, this is a chance to engage wine as the agent of discovery, be it new flavors, new corners of the world, or new friends.

Sign up for three bottles a month at $100 or six at $200. Delivery available for $15 for DC and Virginia within the Beltway. Join at any time. Cancel at any time. Each batch of wines centers around a single theme and every drop includes a newsletter with Bill's reflections on the latest selections, book recommendations, and exhaustive notes on each bottle.

Reveler's Hour is a neighborhood restaurant in the Adams Morgan enclave of Washington, DC.

It was opened in 2019 by the team behind Michelin-starred Tail Up Goat and has gone from strength to strength ever since, racking up local awards for its warm service and imaginative wine program and national recognition as one of the New York Times' 25 Best Restaurants in Washington, DC:

"Perhaps you are one of those people who believes an urban neighborhood is incomplete without a contemporary Italian American trattoria where the food is exceptional but the setting and prices (at least by current big-city standards) make it suitable for all occasions. Reveler’s Hour serves this role in Adams Morgan."
The wines are available for pickup and delivery on the second Friday of each month at Reveler's Hour. Wine Club meets via Zoom the Thursday thereafter promptly at 8:00pm EST. Each month's picks will include a range of wine styles to pique your interest and appeal to every palate. As for themes, here's what the next few months has in store:

  • July: Peeking Behind the Iron Curtain: Celebrating the Winemaking Revival in Central and Eastern Europe
  • August: Way Down South: Surveying South America's Wine Landscape
As for the logistics:
  • Sign up anytime during the month and you're in the Club! Subsequent recurring charges will always go through on the last day of the prior month.
  • We offer delivery in Washington, DC and Virginia within the Beltway. We offer shipping for all states that allow it.
  • We're always happy to hold your wine if you can't pick it up at that time. Just drop us an email to let us know when to expect you.
  • We are able to hold unclaimed wine for the period of a month after the fulfillment date. We'll offer you one more chance at delivery or shipping (where applicable) at that time, but we aren't able to hold any unclaimed bottles thereafter.
