Always made from scratch and inspired by mom's recipes, Saturday Dumpling Co. takes traditional Northern Chinese style dumplings and fills them with fresh and delectable ingredients to give Minneapolis a taste of founder, Peter Bians roots. What started as a pandemic passion has quickly turned into a full-scale operation with demand for Bians dumplings skyrocketing since hitting the local scene. Dumplings have been a part of my life as long as I can remember, recalls Bian, who uses his moms recipes and does everything from scratch: grinding the meat for the fillings, making the wrapper dough by hand, mixing the ingredients, and finally wrapping each individual dumpling. They are a labor of love and made when celebrating life and community.
