Second Mouse Cheese Shop celebrates American artisanal producers, and our Club collections will reflect the determination of the hundreds of domestic producers we support. We do recognize the long-standing traditions of European cheesemakers, however, and will on occasion include these classics.
Second Mouse aims to preserve our culinary traditions and agricultural roots by promoting small, artisanal productions and the people behind them. Together, we can protect farming as a valued practice, a reasonable livelihood, an environmental cornerstone, and an integral source of sustenance and nutrition. We believe food should not only taste good, but should be made with love and with respect for the land on which it grows. It should be approachable, accessible and nourishing.
