The Raleigh Wine Shop opened its doors in 2011 in the Glenwood South district of Downtown Raleigh, with a simple mission: to offer an approachable, thoughtfully curated wine experience rooted in genuine hospitality. We set out to create a shop filled with exciting wines from around the world, backed by a friendly, knowledgeable team here to guide - not intimidate - you.
Our shelves feature a wide range of artisanal wines made with care, integrity, and a strong sense of place. Whether you're looking for a great daily drinker or something truly special, we focus on quality and value at every price point. Every wine we carry is one we’re excited to share - and we think you'll love them too.
In 2022, after more than a decade of serving the Triangle, we moved into a larger space in Downtown Raleigh’s Olde East neighborhood. The new shop allowed us to grow our selection and offer even more - a full wine bar with tastings, glass pours, and wine cocktails, dedicated spaces for private events, classes, and co-working gatherings, and a food program featuring cut-to-order cheeses and charcuterie from around the world.
