The Spinasse and Artusi Wine programs are all about wines from passionate winemakers who view themselves as stewards of the land and believe winemaking is a type of art that represents not just where it was grown, but the people and community who make it.

The provenance of Cascina Spinasse dates to 2008 when it opened as a tiny, rustic Italian trattoria with communal seating, a hyper-focus on handmade pasta and the traditional cuisine of the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. In the following years, Spinasse continued to garner critical acclaim and a loyal following as one of city's top Italian restaurants. Artusi is the celebrated bar next door to its notable, northern Italian sibling restaurant, Spinasse. Chef Stuart brings his passion for the dishes found throughout Italy, including his notable handmade pasta, to the casual menu. It is the perfect stop on Capitol Hill for an expertly crafted classic or modern Italian-inspired cocktail, snacks or dinner.
