At-Home Wine & Dinner Series
We wanted to share beloved BBQ fare from around the world. An old French chef that Pete worked with claimed barbecue comes from barbe à queue ("from beard to tail”) but historians say it comes from the Taino in the Caribbean technique of slow cooking aka barbacoa. We offer no tails on this menu but plenty of more tales for this dinner.
- Korean Banchan - Smashed ‘kimchi’ cucumbers, samba lettuce wraps with rice, mayak egg
- Tlayuda (Oaxacan tostada) - Hand pressed corn torilla, refried beans, avocado, queso Oaxaca, cabbage, chorizo
- Turkish Eggplant and Summer Squash - Smoked eggplant puree with chili butter, grilled summer squash, urfa oil, mint, labneh
- BONUS COURSE: Market Salad
- Carolina Burnt Ends - Smoked brisket, stone fruit bbq sauce, grits, charred nectarine, pickled fresno, cabbage slaw
- Optional: Blueberry pie a la mode - Blueberry pie, vanilla gelato
As always, our At-Home Wine Dinners via Table 22 come fully prepared with accompanying color-coded menu cards with cooking instructions as needed— simply assemble & serve. We’ve added an option for rose for you to enjoy with your meal or take with you on your next picnic.

Owner Peter Ryan was born and raised in the restaurant’s namesake. Chef Pete “pounded pans” on the East and West coasts for more than a dozen years before making his way to Denver in 1999 to join the faculty at Cook Street School of Culinary Arts.
