The Tomo wine list is wines that are farmed responsibly (minimum uncertified organic), made in small amounts by hand, fermented without selected yeasts, and favor personal expression over typicity. We carry many wines made by women, from unexpected places, and many rare varietal wines. Example producers include:
  • Barrigon from Queretaro, Mexico
  • Domaine Hauvette from Alpilles, France
  • Klinec Medana from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy
  • Milan Nestarec from Moravia, Czechia
  • Jean-Yves Peron from Savoie, France
  • Piquenique from San Juan Island in Washington State, US
  • Slobodne Vinarstvo from Trnava, Slovakia
  • Zorah from Vaydz Dzor, Armenia
  • Tasting notes, producer info, & pairing recommendations for the monthly wines
  • Recipes from chef Brady and the Tomo team

Tomo is Japanese for pal or friend. We serve eclectic fare and serious wine in a former adult video store. Chef/owner Brady Ishiwata William's a la carte and set menus are inspired by the heritages and experiences of the entire culinary team and feature ethically sourced, seasonal ingredients. Tomo is named after Brady's grandmother, Tomoko Ishiwata Bristol, whose cooking remains his greatest source of inspiration. When you purchase a wine subscription from Tomo, you're supporting an independent neighborhood restaurant as well as local farmers, vendors, and some of the best small vignerons from around the world.
