Our November Add-On is a red duo for you to bring to whatever table you're going to be sitting at the third week of Thanksgiving—whether it's your own, a friend's, a family member's, a stranger's; whether you'll be eating turkey, or squash, or Thai takeout, or beef wellington. These are two light reds that we're calling alt-Beaujolais. Riley O'Neill Latta and Michael Tessler's "Nancy" is all Carignan from beloved and storied Poor Ranch in Mendocino. This is the same juice Riley poured last year at the Psychic Beaujolais Nouveau party, when it was young, sweet, and sticky. After some time in barrel, it's gotten a bit lighter, a bit fresher, and after just going into bottle is a perfect accompaniment to a dense meal, or a spicy one, or a slice of pie. Une Tranche Made in Chenas is a wine made by Louis Damien Bouchacourt—a rock and roll Beaujolais, truly perfect for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, if you're partaking in one, or just add it on and drink it with a regular old roasted chicken. It's really, really good.
